The North Sea is a unique heritage site yielding a large amount of palaeontological and archaeological data. Many fossil bones have been Radiocarbon dated to provide a time parameter to these finds. Here we discuss additional data obtained for these samples: the stable isotopes 13C and 15N of the dated bone collagen. These provide information on the palaeo-environment and diet of the individuals (fauna and humans) and changes therein through time.
