More new localities of the Girdled snail Hygromia cinctella

Some new localities of the invasive, exotic Girdled snail Hygromia cinctella are given. They were registered in October 2012 and September-October 2013 in the following municipalities: Terschelling (one of the Wadden Islands. province of Friesland) and Amsterdam, Velsen, Edam-Volendam, Zeevang and the Beemster, all in the province of North- Holland, the Netherlands. At least in North-Holland in gardens this snail seems to become as abundant as the European brown snail Cornu aspersum.
