On May 9, 2015 13 individuals took part in an excursion on Tiengemeten, an island in the Haringvliet, province of Zuid-Holland. The island is managed by Natuurmonumenten, a Dutch organization for nature conservation. In all, 31 species of mollusks were found. Unfortunately no suitable biotope for the species Mercuria anatina (Poiret, 1801) was found, due to the fact that the water transition (an overflow) was closed because of the fight against the invasive freshwater plant Ludwiga peploides. Because more than half of the participants also appeared to be very interested in birds, by exception a table is included listing birds observed and/or heard.
