Report on an excursion on May 3, 2014 to De Kerf (in the dunes close to Schoorl), which yielded a find of the Ash-black slug Limax cinereoniger Wolf, 1803

Eleven participants investigated the mollusc fauna of the dune and pine forest area between Schoorl and Bergen aan Zee, Province of North-Holland. No freshwater molluscs were found in the rainfed waters. However, 19 terrestrial snail species were recorded, including seven species of slugs. Limax cinereoniger was found for the first time in the western dune area in the Netherlands.
