A grey specimen of the Ash-black slug Limax cinereoniger Wolf, 1803 in the Heemtuin near Malden

During an excursion of the Dutch Malacological Society a completely grey- coloured specimen of the Ash-black slug was encountered. This species is highly variable in colour and colour patterns, which may make proper identification difficult, in particular because identification guides usually depict only one specimen with preference for a black one.
