Cerastoderma lamarcki in de Zandkes on the isle of Texel

Heaps of broken shells, presumably predated on by brown rats, indicated the presence of a population of Cerastoderma lamarcki (Reeve, 1845) in De Zandkes on the Wadden isle of Texel. Also in Het Wagejot on the same island a population was indicated by very small specimen washed ashore.
