In October 2015, an inventory was made in two salt marsh creeks and four brackish pools at the Oosterkwelder of the island of Schiermonnikoog. In the so-called ‘Tweede Slenk’ 16 live specimens of Cerastoderma glaucum were found, all belonging to year class 2014. Also live specimens of year class 2015 were found for which no distinction between C. glaucum and C. edule could be made.
