On the 3th of February 2018 a symposium was held in Muzee, Scheveningen, the Netherlands to commemorate Dr. A.C. van Bruggen, honorary member of the Netherlands’ Malacological Society. As he had specialized on land molluscs from Africa, this was the dominant theme.
