The nature reserve Wilhelmina-Oard near Sint Nicolaasga, municipality Fryske Marren, province of Friesland, the Netherlands was briefly checked for the presence of terrestrial gastropods on 1 and 3 September 2017. This mixed woodland established in 1845 turned out to be rather poor in land snails and slugs. Only nine species were encountered in very small numbers. This poor representation of gastropods is probably due to the rather acid conditions prevailing in this woodland.
