Nogmaals iets over de Gekielde loofslak Hygromia cinctella in Joure, Friesland

A brief report is given on the discovery of a second population of the invasive Mediterranean land snail Hygromia cinctella in Joure, Friesland. This population of the Girdled snail was found in the nature reserve ‘the Famberhorst’ near the normally closed entrance between Omkromte 8 and 10. The first population was found near the Omkromte 2, therefore most probably the Girdled snail is living in all the gardens at the even-numbered side of that street in Joure.
