From 23-24 August 2019 the Netherlands Malacological Society (NMV) and its satellite the Mollusc Study group Limburg (MSL) jointly organized an excursion to the south of the province of Limburg. The excursion focused on the two species of Aciculidae exclusively occurring in that part of the Netherlands, i.e. Platyla polita and Acicula fusca. In all 80 and 56 specimens of both species were found respectively. In addition 59 other species of land snails and slugs and 18 species of freshwater molluscs were observed.
