The original fauna of the Mediterranean Sea is disappearing

The author refers to recent papers describing the replacement of native species in the eastern Mediterranean Sea by Lessepsian species from the Red Sea, due to local increase of the sea water temperature by 3 oC. This is a concrete consequence of global warming.
