On 5 September, 2020 an excursion took place to an area near Winterswijk (province of Gelderland) in the east of the Netherlands. In this area are various small-scale landscape elements, groves and streams. There are three open quarries, one of which is managed for the benefit of nature. Samples were taken at various locations, of litter and from ponds and a stream. A total of 43 species of snails, slugs and a pea mussel were identified.
