Periodically drying ditches at Winterswijk (Ratum). Does Valvata macrostoma (Mörch, 1864) still lives there?

In 1972 and 2021 the same area in Ratum near Winterswijk (province of Gelderland) was investigated for freshwater molluscs. In 1972 a characteristic fauna which can survive the drying up of waterbodies was present with, among others, the Large-mouthed valve snail Valvata macrostoma (Mörch, 1864). In 2021 this rare species was unfortunately not recovered here.
