The author describes a find of Cardioceras lillooetense REESIDE 1919, from a sandpit in Rhenen. The origin of this Oxfordian ammonite is sought for in northeastern France. It is another proof of the influence of the river Meuse in middle pleistocene Rhine-sediments.
