Eerste vondst van een Nostoceras (orde Ammonoidea) in Nederland

A description is given of a Nostoceras, a heteromorph ammonite, which is found for the first time in the Maastrichtian Chalk in the province of Limburg, the Netherlands. Only a part of the fragmocone has been preserved, so a determination on species level cannot be given.
