In this article are discussed the various ways erratic boulders can get damaged-cracked or scratched- while being transported by glaciers or landice. Multiply scratched or orherwise damaged erratic boulders have obtained their blemishes mostly by mutual contact rather than by their continuously sliding over the glacier floor.
