The echinoid genus Echinocorys is reported from the Vaals Formation (lower Lower Campanian) of the CPL-quarry at Hallembaye-Haccourt, municipality of Oupeye, Belgium, for the first time.The echinoid fauna of this lithostratigraphic unit is, as a rule, badly preserved. Up to now, species of the genera Hemiaster, Cardiaster, Diplodetus and Gauthieria have been found
