Twintig jaar Werkgroep voor Tertiaire en Kwartaire Geologie (W.T.K.G.)

A short review is given of the foundation and development of the W.T.K.G. and of the periodical “Mededelingen van de Werkgroep voor Tertiaire en Kwartaire Geologie (Contributions to Tertiary and Quaternary Geology”), a multilangual journal, and of the periodical “Afzettingen” which appears almost entirely in Dutch. A list of the activities of the W.T.K.G. of the last ten years is presented.
