Additional data to a former paper (in Meded. Werkgr. Tert. Kwart. Geol., 12 (2), 1975) are given. It has been established that sediments of the Neerrepen Sands do yet occur at this locality. A small molluscan fauna from these sands has been collected. The stratotype of the Valkenburg Deposit is redefined. Furthermore a correlation is given between the stratigraphical nomenclature used by the authors and by the Geological Survey of the Netherlands.
