To the list of eight species of otoliths from the Anversien of Leriche (1926) are added twenty species. In the Sands of Edegem are met twenty species, in the Sands of Antwerp ten species. Several species only occur in one of these deposits. The very great number of Gadus friedbergi is discussed. A systematic description of the species found is given, with a comparison of the age of the otoliths to those of N.W.Germany. The idea is admissable that the Sands of Edegem correspond to the Hemmoor Stufe and the Sands of Antwerp to the Reinbek Stufe.
