Volunteers wanted in DONANA National Park

The Ringing programme of migratory passerines, Estacion Biologica de Donana (CSIC), Almonte district Council, Spain is looking for voiunteers (expert ringers and assistant ringers) to help in ringing programmes in Donana National Park in September, October and November 1999. As part of the migratory passerines ringing programme, the Equipo de Seguimiento de procesos Naturales of the Estacion Biologica de Donana has developed a ringing station in the Donana National Park, which will be active during the postnupcial migation (September, October and November). An agreement has been signed with the borough of Almonte to allow schoolchildren of the village of El Rocio to watch the ringing procedures and to learn about this activity. Talks will be given by the EBD employees at the school as part of this scheme, and the volunteers will be asked to cooperate at the ringing station.
