Een reconstructie van de Fauna-opeenvolging op basis van zoogdierresten uit een zuigput te Heerewaarden aan de Maas

Palaeontological and archeological material from a suction dredge at Heerewaarden (Hee) has been studied. Colour measuring, determination of specific gravity and calculations of the heights at the withers pertaining to Bos taurus L. allowed a classification according to the following ages: HOLOCENE – Recent – Late Middle Ages – Early Middle ages – Roman Age – Iron Age – Mesolithicum PLEISTOCENE – Late Weichselian – Late Middle Weichselian Based on the results palaeoecological conclusions have been drawn.
