Description of three fossil remains of beavers, Castor fiber LINNÉ, 1758, ssp. (probably the European subspecies, although this cannot be fully be ascertained). The finds, now in the Stolzenbach collection (St. Michielsgestel) were collected at sand-sucking pits in the Meuse flatlands at Maren-Kessel and Kerkdriel.
