Fossil parts of reptiles are rather rare in the Netherlands. In this paper some parts of the carapace, the plastron, a scapula and a femur of Emys orbicularis LINNAEUS, 1758 are described. These pieces were found on the Maasvlakte, province of Zuid-Holland, the Netherlands. It is concluded that the fossils from the Maasvlakte are of Bavelian (fauna I) and of Flandrian (fauna III) age.
