Some criteria for recognizing stone artifacts

Naturally flaked stone can show a surprising resemblance to artifacts. It is up to archeologist to recognize these ’pseudoartifacts’ from stone artifacts. This article gives several criteria. An example shows that in practice recognition may prove difficult.
