Bijzondere vindplaatsen: Akrotiri Aetokremnos

Localities which show the association of a fauna with its (human) predator are very rare. Akrotiri-Aetokremnos on Cyprus is such a locality, and as such of main importance for the understanding of the colonization of islands by (pre-) Neolithic man, and the disappearance of endemic island faunas.
