A short description of five vertebrate remains found during local sand-sucking operations in 1970 at a locality between the communities Heino and Raalte in the Salland region of the Dutch province of Overijssel. The fossil fragments are those of a horse, an auerochs, a bewick’s swan, a giant deer and a mammoth. All are of probable Late Pleistocene age and were deposited in river sands.
