The authors describe the cavelion remains from Siegsdorf, Germany. Remarkebly, several bones feature characteristic cutmarks which prove that the animal was defleshed. Next to the recovery of this skeleton, the museum where the cave lion is on display (Südostbayerisches Naturkunde- und Mammut-Museum Siegsdorf) is described.
