This year a WPZ excursion was organized. We visited the Natural History Museum in Maastricht, where we enjoyed the temporary exhibition of the Mosasaurus that now resides in Paris and where we attended a lecture by Jean Pierre de Warrimont on Pleistocene sites in Limburg. We also visited the Neanderthal Museum in Mettman, Germany, and we got a guided tour into two Belgian loess quarries that have yielded (middle) Pleistocene finds.
