Over microreliëf en ontkieming in de jonge duinvallei

The germination of the dune slack pioneer plants Centaurium vulgare and Blackstonia perfoliata on small field plots failed to take place as a consequence of the application of a soil-fixing liquid (Unisol). The soil was too strongly fixed and the microrelief was completely levelled, consequently suitable micro-sites (with convenient moisture conditions) for germination were lacking.
