Taraxacum wijtmaniae, spec. nov

Description of Taraxacum wytmaniae, spec. nov. The species occurs in the coastal area of the Netherlands mostly on sandy, somewhat saltish soils. Some details of its distribution and ecology are given. The species is named after the wife of Prof. J. L. van Soest, the late mrs. J. M. L. van Soest née Wijtman, who beautifully illustrated so many of the species published by her husband.
