Het voorkomen van Rivierfonteinkruid (Potamogeton nodosus Poir.) in Nederland

Potamogeton nodosus occurs in the less dynamic parts of the rivers Rhine and Meuse, as well as in the lower parts of the river IJssel including the area around its mouth. Recently, P. nodosus has established itself in the Biesbosch area. The size of the populations of P. nodosus may vary from year to year. This is ascribed to fluctuations in the discharge of the river, as well as to fluctuations in the temperature of the water in spring.
