Crassula helmsii, an amphibious species originating from temperate Australia and New Zealand, is recorded for the first time from the Netherlands. In 1995 and 1996 it has been found in a nature reserve near Breda. The authors suggest that it should be destroyed there in order to prevent that it becomes an invasive weed.
