Uit Nederland zijn 28 Carex-hybriden bekend. De laatste nieuwe hybride werd in 1987 gevonden, C. ×albertii. Op grond van de Europees bekende Carex-hybriden zouden er in ons land zeker nog een dertigtal te verwachten zijn. Hitherto, 28 Carex-hybrids are known from the Netherlands. The most recent record of a new hybrid, i.e. C. ×albertii, dates from 1987. Taking into account the Carex-hybrids that are known from Europe, another thirty hybrids might be expected to occur in the Netherlands.
