De sectie Corylifolii Lindl. en verwanten van het genus Rubus L. in Nederland

In het kader van het voorbereiden van de checklist van de Nederlandse bramen was er dringend behoefte aan een herziening van de sectie Corylifolii Lindl.. Dit artikel voorziet daarin. De volgende nieuwe taxa werden beschreven: — Nieuwe sectie: Subidaei (Focke) A.Beek. Omdat de Subidaei in een andere verhouding staan tot R. caesius dan de sectie Corylifolii, is het voor deze groep soorten beter deze van de Corylifolii af te splitsen en hiervoor een afzonderlijke sectie te creëren. — Nieuwe namen van series: serie Clivicola A.Beek, ter vervanging van de incorrecte naam Subsylvatici (Focke) Focke (1914), non Boulay (1895); serie Viatici A.Beek, ter vervanging van de incorrecte naam Subthyrsoidei (Focke) Focke, non Hallier & R. Wohlfahrt (1892). — Nieuwe serie: Ferociores A.Beek, waarbij soorten met een rijk beklierde bloeiwijze worden afgespitst van de serie Clivicola. — Nieuwe soorten: Rubus schipperi A.Beek; R. paludosus A.Beek; R. favillatus A.Beek; R. luticola A.Beek. Verder werd de identiteit van R. corylifolius Sm., en daarmee samenhangend de infragenerische taxa waarvan deze het type is, vastgesteld. Er werd een lectotype aangewezen ter vervanging van het eerder aangewezen neotype. This article presents results of an investigation of the genus Rubus sect. Corylifolii in the Netherlands. Some new taxa are described: — New section: Subidaei (Focke) A.Beek. Because the Subidaei have a different relation to R. caesius than the section Corylifolii, an independent status must be preferred. — New names of series: series Clivicola A.Beek, replacing the incorrect name Subsylvatici (Focke) Focke (1914), non Boulay (1895); series Viatici A.Beek, replacing the incorrect name Subthyrsoidei (Focke) Focke, non Hallier & R. Wohlfahrt (1892). — New series: Ferociores A.Beek, splitting off from the series Clivicola plants with a very glandular inflorescence. — New species: Rubus schipperi A.Beek; R. paludosus A.Beek; R. favillatus A.Beek; R. luticola A.Beek. Further, the identity of R. corylifolius Sm., and consequently the infrageneric taxa for which it is the type species, is clarified. Rubus corylifolius is validly published by Smith in English Botany 715 by reference to earlier descriptions. He accepts the taxon and his remark on an intended publication refers to an image, not to the acceptance of the species. The only indisputable reference in his protologue is to Schmidel’s Icones. The picture in this work can serve as a lectotype which must replace the neotype that Weber selected. This picture resembles R. lobatidens, but is not identical. The depicted plant is clearly a member of the Sepincoli sensu Weber (non Focke, because Weber excludes the type, R. dumetorum Weihe, from his Sepincoli). Thus the correct name of the Sepincoli sensu Weber must be Corylifolii (Lindl.) Focke.
