During the first part of 1995 three fishes were caught in the Dutch part of the North Sea: the thresher shark Alopias vulpinus, the marbled electric ray Torpedo marmorata and the electric ray Torpedo nobiliana. They respectively represent the 5th, 6th and 3rd record for the Dutch North Sea region. This paper documents the records photographically and gives exact fmding locations and detailed measurements of the specimens which are preserved and stored in the collection of the Natuurmuseum Rotterdam.
