A near-complete mandible (SMNS 55414) and a partial skeleton, including a fragment of maxilla (BSP 1991 I 27), from the Lower Cretaceous Santana Formation (Romualdo Member) of Brazil are described and classified. Both have been assigned to Brasileodactylus. The results are being viewed in the light of the ongoing discussion about Ornithocheiridae-Anhangueridae problem as pinpointed by Veldmeijer (2006). Note, however, that due to the long time it took the editors to publish the present work, recent literature, such as Rodriques & Kellner (2008), is not included in the discussion.
