The Phytotron of the Institute for Biological and Chemical Research on Field Crops and Herbage at Wageningen

A detailed description is given of the phytotron of the Institute for Biological and Chemical Research on Field Crops and Herbage as far as general planning and the air conditioning of growth rooms and glasshouses is concerned. The main data are given in Table 1; (the building costs can be found in the appendix.) The performances of the phytotron will be dealt with in a subsequent article.
