A method is described for the isolation, purification and extraction of the triterpene particles of Hoya australis R. Br. ex Traill. (Asclepiadaceae) and Euphorbia milii Desm. (Euphorbiaceae). Chemical data and morphological properties of the triterpene particles of H. australis are presented and discussed.
