A comparative investigation of the particle fractions from Hoya, Dischidia and Euphorbia latices

Particle size, morphology and lipid composition of the latex particle fractions of 18 Hoya, 3 Dischidia and 5 Euphorbia species were investigated. Of these latices only two showed in vitro triterpene biosynthesis. Some aspects of particle biosynthesis are discussed.
