Applications of scanning electron microscopy in anthecology

The advantages of the application of the SEM technique to the study of the kind and the location of pollen adhering to the body of an animal pollen vector, by mounting whole animals or large portions of them, are briefly set forth. Various technical points and some difficulties that may be encountered are explained.
