Simultaneous visualization of cytoskeletal elements and cellulose microfibrils in cortex cells of tobacco explants

A method is described for the simultaneous visualization of membranebound cytoskeletal elements and cellulose microfibrils in cortex cells of tobacco explants. The method consists of sectioning polyethylene glycol embedded material, dry-cleaving and electron microscopy.
