In 2010 the authors reported Sibianor aurocinctus (Ohlert, 1865) from De Reijerscamp the Netherlands. This appears to be a misidentification, the correct species being Sibianor larae Logunov 2001. Some remarks on the taxonomy of Sibianor are made. Re-examination of the type of Attus aenescens (Simon, 1868) is suggested.
