Many traditional breeding territories of Hobbies in forests of northern Drenthe have been deserted in recent years. On the other hand, new territories were located in hedgerows in farmland. The evidence is still anecdotal and it is not yet proof that a relocation of territories is taking place. Observers are asked to pay special attention to Hobbies in farmland.
