Two dead Honey Buzzards, an adult male (780 g, broken wing, internal bleeding, crop filled with wasps and wasp larvae) and a recently fledged juvenile female (980 g, flight feathers still in blood shafts, skull damaged, crop filled with wasp larvae), were found alongside a road near their nest, which was only 3 m away from the road. Both birds were apparently killed by traffic.
