A Honey Buzzard nest with two chicks contained some wasp combs and the remains of a Mole during a visit on 16 July 2008; the chicks were 24 and 21 days old (based on wing length). Another visit to the same nest on 23 July revealed a single wasp comb of Vespula vulgaris and some grains (presumably from a pigeon’s stomach).
