Inventarisatie van Havik Accipiter gentilis en Sperwer A. nisus rond Groningen

Along the northern, eastern and western edges of the city of Groningen (25 km²), six territories of Goshawks were located. Four territories were successful, raising a total of 3x 2 and 1x 1 young (3 males, 4 females). Of 12 territories of Sparrowhawks, at least seven were successful in raising at least 21 chicks. (Partial) depredation of Sparrowhawks by Goshawks was recorded three times, and the use of old raptor nests by Beech Martens Martes foina may have increased in recent years.
