Only recently, an important bottleck for raptor migration was discovered in Thailand. Full counts of autumn migration in 2010 and 2011 showed >200,000 migrants per season, mostly Chinese Sparrowhawks, Black Bazas, Oriental Honey-buzzards, Japanese Sparrowhawks and Grey-faced Buzzards. All together, 25 raptor species passed this site, of which 15 with fewer than 100 passage migrants per autumn. Time frames of passage varied between species (see Table 1).
