In a previous article in Drentse Vogels (21: 49), the author described aggressive behaviour of a Mute Swan against three Spoonbills. Here he tells how he unexpectedly meets a similar description of a Mute Swan against four Spoonbills in the last part of the “Secret Diary” by Hans Warren, a Dutch nature loving poet, writer and translater who lived from 1929 to 2001.
